The candidates are:

Randi Naughton (FOX2)
My hometown is Niagara Falls, New York. I have a big family, and was born the 5th of 7 children. I previously worked in Buffalo, NY in radio and at WGRZ-TV as an Entertainment Reporter. I moved to St. Louis in the late 80's. Since living in St. Louis, I've worked at Y-98 radio, KLOU Radio, KMOX Radio.

I started at KTVI in 1992 on a part-time basis and came on board full-time in 1994 in the Sports Department as a reporter. I was named Weekend Sports Anchor shortly afterwards. I've had the pleasure of covering the Blues during the Hull, Keenan, Gretzky era...the Cardinals during Mark McGwire's Home Run Race and the Rams, from their arrival in St. Louis to two Super Bowl appearances.

I found a new home on the FOX 2 News in the Morning in the summer of 1999 and have been here ever since. In addition to anchoring the morning news between 5-7am, I also contribute to Contact 2, Fit on FOX , Missouri Lawyers Weekly, FOX Files reports, Rams Pre-season football and the American Idol Finals.

I am also proud to be the co-author of a children's book called: "The Tooth Fairy Palace." I wrote it with my daughter when she asked the question: "Mom, what does the Tooth Fairy do with the teeth after she takes them from under the pillow?". It's a fun story as well as some good advice and lessons for little ones regarding good dental health. For more information on the "Tooth Fairy Palace", either e-mail Randi, or click on the sidebar Web link.

I love: My family, watching sports (especially football), golfing with my husband, bird watching (I'm a "bird-nerd"), my three golden retrievers, cat and fish pond, the color red, staying at home, veggies, goofy movies (favorite: It's a Mad, Mad, Mad Mad World), jamming to music, a good wine, laughing with friends, family dinners, being anywhere near a lake or ocean, quirky people, American Idol and naps.

I am also very active in various charitable organizations. I am proud to contribute my time as an emcee or host for many charitable events.

Being a part of the FOX 2 news in the Morning is great! I appreciate it when viewers tell me they "wake-up" with us every morning. I believe we have a great group of people who knows what's important to the viewers, especially when they're just starting their day. Even though I have a crazy wake-up call (you don't want to know), this job allows me to have the best of both worlds. I can be a career woman as well as have time to spend with my family. I can honestly say I enjoy coming to work at FOX 2 everyday!

Kay Quinn (KSDK)
Health and medical issues make up one of the most exciting beats in the newsroom. Few other areas of news touch each and every one of us so closely and so often.

Whether you're a senior worried about paying for prescription drugs, a parent concerned about the health of a child or waging your own fight against cancer or heart disease, you can usually find health news that applies to you in my daily reports.

I always tell St. Louisans they are so fortunate when it comes to health care. Our city is home to two research hospitals.

Doctors and scientists at Washington University School of Medicine and St. Louis University School of Medicine are involved in some of the most critical research underway in medicine today.

Work is bring done right at this moment, right in our area, that could lead to a vaccine for bird flu or better ways to diagnose and treat Alzheimer's disease.

I enjoy staying on top of those stories, as well as bringing you health and medical news you can use.

Along with the latest medical breakthroughs, you'll frequently find information on low-cost exercise programs right around the corner from where you live, or details on where to get this year's flu shot.

Many viewers want to know whether I have a medical background. I don't, but my mother was a nurse and I know her health background made a big impression on me as a child.

It's the lifelong curiosity and interest I have in health issues that serves me well in my work as health reporter.

Staying on top of what you need to know to stay fit and healthy is a job I love.
