The candidates are:
Randi Naughton (FOX2)

I started at KTVI in 1992 on a part-time basis and came on board full-time in 1994 in the Sports Department as a reporter. I was named Weekend Sports Anchor shortly afterwards. I've had the pleasure of covering the Blues during the Hull, Keenan, Gretzky era...the Cardinals during Mark McGwire's Home Run Race and the Rams, from their arrival in St. Louis to two Super Bowl appearances.
I found a new home on the FOX 2 News in the Morning in the summer of 1999 and have been here ever since. In addition to anchoring the morning news between 5-7am, I also contribute to Contact 2, Fit on FOX , Missouri Lawyers Weekly, FOX Files reports, Rams Pre-season football and the American Idol Finals.
I am also proud to be the co-author of a children's book called: "The Tooth Fairy Palace." I wrote it with my daughter when she asked the question: "Mom, what does the Tooth Fairy do with the teeth after she takes them from under the pillow?". It's a fun story as well as some good advice and lessons for little ones regarding good dental health. For more information on the "Tooth Fairy Palace", either e-mail Randi, or click on the sidebar Web link.
I love: My family, watching sports (especially football), golfing with my husband, bird watching (I'm a "bird-nerd"), my three golden retrievers, cat and fish pond, the color red, staying at home, veggies, goofy movies (favorite: It's a Mad, Mad, Mad Mad World), jamming to music, a good wine, laughing with friends, family dinners, being anywhere near a lake or ocean, quirky people, American Idol and naps.
I am also very active in various charitable organizations. I am proud to contribute my time as an emcee or host for many charitable events.
Being a part of the FOX 2 news in the Morning is great! I appreciate it when viewers tell me they "wake-up" with us every morning. I believe we have a great group of people who knows what's important to the viewers, especially when they're just starting their day. Even though I have a crazy wake-up call (you don't want to know), this job allows me to have the best of both worlds. I can be a career woman as well as have time to spend with my family. I can honestly say I enjoy coming to work at FOX 2 everyday!
Virginia Kerr (KMOV)

Virginia came to KMOV Channel 4 from KHQ-TV in Spokane, Wash., where she was a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter. Prior to KHQ, she was an evening Anchor/Reporter at KECI-TV in Missoula, Montana.
Virginia graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala., where she earned her degree in Psychology. It was there that she began her broadcasting career on the production crew at WCFT-TV, the CBS affiliate in Tuscaloosa.
Virginia enjoys biking, working out and spending time with her two boxers Lucy-Loo and Murphy Lee.
Cindy Preszler (KSDK)

In 2003, KSDK was awarded the WeatheRate seal of approval, an award that certifies KSDK as the most accurate weather station in St. Louis. The data used to determine a winner is refigured every 6 months by the non-profit WeatheRate organization. Also in 2003, KSDK was awarded 14 Regional Emmy Awards, Including Best Weathercaster.
Sandy Miller (FOX2)

Sandy grew up at the Lake of the Ozarks and graduated from Missouri State Univeristy in Springfield, Missouri where she was attending on a scholarship. She worked as an intern at KOLR-TV while in Springfield and moved to St. Louis in 1985.
Sandy is a former Miss Missouri and placed 3rd runner-up in the national Miss USA Pageant. She's involved in many community organizations and volunteers for numerous charities. Some of the organizations she enjoys donating time to include the Missouri Humane Society, United Cerebral Palsy and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Sandy lives in western St. Charles County with her husband, Matt and sons Cole and Clay.
Melanie Moon (KPLR)

Born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL, Melanie got her start in the business while still in college, anchoring a news segment on a Christian television station in Tampa, Florida, alongside her identical twin sister (who now reports for WREG in Memphis.) Since then, she has reported and anchored the news in Fayetteville, Arkansas and Roanoke, Virginia. She studied mass communications and journalism at the University of South Florida and later transferred to Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, where she graduated cum laude. She also spent a semester working for CNN in Washington, D.C.
In addition to her journalistic skills, Melanie is a classically trained pianist and harpist and vocalist. Faith House and Dream House are the non-profit organizations closest to her heart. In June 2002, she was featured on the cover of St. Louis Magazine.
Kay Quinn (KSDK)

Whether you're a senior worried about paying for prescription drugs, a parent concerned about the health of a child or waging your own fight against cancer or heart disease, you can usually find health news that applies to you in my daily reports.
I always tell St. Louisans they are so fortunate when it comes to health care. Our city is home to two research hospitals.
Doctors and scientists at Washington University School of Medicine and St. Louis University School of Medicine are involved in some of the most critical research underway in medicine today.
Work is bring done right at this moment, right in our area, that could lead to a vaccine for bird flu or better ways to diagnose and treat Alzheimer's disease.
I enjoy staying on top of those stories, as well as bringing you health and medical news you can use.
Along with the latest medical breakthroughs, you'll frequently find information on low-cost exercise programs right around the corner from where you live, or details on where to get this year's flu shot.
Many viewers want to know whether I have a medical background. I don't, but my mother was a nurse and I know her health background made a big impression on me as a child.
It's the lifelong curiosity and interest I have in health issues that serves me well in my work as health reporter.
Staying on top of what you need to know to stay fit and healthy is a job I love.
