Just yesterday I was complaining that Erin Burnett never wears skirts anymore, and whaddya know, she complies by wearing one hosting yesterday's Today Show, and looking sweet too. Although, she's terrible at doing the hoola hoop and TVNewswer thinks it could affect her future career. Me, I still think Erin is hot, even if she can't hoola hoop.

It's been forever since I've posted on the Street Sweetie Erin Burnett. I think she's been purposely keeping a low profile after a few high profile blunders (if you don't know what they are, just search back a few of the tagged posts). Anyways, from the Today Show yesterday, Erin doing her best Kate Gosselin impression for Halloween, and a sweet backside shot. For some reason, she stopped wearing skirts too.

Airing yesterday, CNBC street sweetie Erin Burnett in a special feature on Dubai called "City of Money and Mystery." It definitely looked like Erin was at home there, she probably got to swim in money too. I'm surprised they didn't make her cover herself head to toe though.

Whether or not you think she actually is the hottest news babe, she is one sexy woman. I wonder what she thinks of being named the hottest news babe, I bet her man has a big ol' smile on his face. Most viewers of cable business news are male, and it remains to be seen if Fox’s approach will work as a marketing tactic, but it all infuriates Bartiromo.
“There is not a rivalry,” insists Bartiromo. “Erin and I are friends.” For Bartiromo the competition goes well beyond Burnett, and the pressure to stay one step ahead never lets up. “I’m always worrying,” she says. “I mean, if I’m not worried about something, I worry.” Last year she trademarked the name “Money Honey,” and set up a company by that name to produce animated shows to teach children about money—although the company’s name may change because she got “a lot of pushback” from people who thought “it was too sexy for children.”
“Erin and I have spoken about this,” says Bartiromo, “and I just think that we both feel like, well, maybe at the end of the day someone is doing this, planting this, because it puts more attention on the network.” Asked if she means executives at CNBC, she smiles and says nothing. CNBC roundly denies this, but it sort of makes sense. After all, a fight between two smart, successful, beautiful women does not make for a bad marketing tactic in a business that still caters largely to men. “I think that when people see strong, successful women, they love to imagine that there is a rivalry,” says Burnett. “Maybe it’s because there are not as many women. And maybe, I don’t know,” she says, rolling her eyes, “it’s a male-fantasy thing.”

Burnett is a former investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs and a former vice president at CitigroupRegarding what happened this week on Wall Street, Erin conjured up some good ol' college memories, I bet she was one heck of a wild coed:
You go to a party and you binge. You eat the corn dogs and pigs in a blanket. You drink the cider, you drink the wine, you have the vodka. But you wake up the next morning and you feel pretty awful. That's where we are right now.Then earlier in the week, Erin made an "anal faux pas" (via Wallstreetfighter):
Haines and Cramer were bustling around talking about how this might be the biggest financial crisis since the Great Depression, when Erin chimed in by taking the 'flushing bad debt out' metaphor way too far, saying that this perhaps is a 'much needed colonic for Wall Street'.
Cramer and Haines' half-disgusted/half-hysterical faces were priceless.
To be fair though, despite giving me the unnecessary mental image of Dick Fuld getting an assful of cleansing water, Erin has been doing a bang-up job today covering all this mess
