Vote For The Hottest News Babe in Detroit

There was a time when I spent about 6 months working in the heart of downtown Detroit. Yep, I was right in the middle of the kill zone. It was an eye opening experience to say the least. But I did manage to get out to Ann Arbor and across the border to Windsor for some gambling. I've watched and like Erin Nicole as I like Deetroit basketball and she does some Pistons broadcasts. Anyways if you don't see your favorite hottie Detroit news babe, feel free to email me at anchorbabes@gmail.com so I can add it.

Wanna hook up with hot babes from Detroit? What are you waiting for, find your hot new friend online today.

The candidates are:

Deena Centofanti (FOX2)
People always say, “You’ve got a great job” - and I think they’re right!

Since walking in the door here at Fox 2 in 1997, I’ve had tremendous opportunities as a reporter; covering Pope John Paul II’s visit to St. Louis, heading to Washington D. C. for the impeachment of President Clinton and going to Los Angeles a few times to “rub elbows” with Fox superstars. (I was even supposed to make it into a scene of Ally McBeal as an extra, but they cut me out!)

In spite of all my travels, my favorite moments have happened right here in metro Detroit. As the Healthworks reporter, nothing makes me more proud than knowing we have helped to make a difference in someone’s life.

We call ourselves the Problem Solvers and we don’t take that lightly. When it comes to being healthy, so much of it is in your control and through Healthworks we’re always trying to empower you with great, user-friendly information.

When I'm not at work, I'm a very proud mother of three young children. My husband and I have a son and two daughters.

Look for “Deena’s Healthworks” during the week...and look for Charles Pugh and me on the weekend mornings from 7 - 10 a.m. Thanks for watching!

Erin Nicole (WXYZ)
Erin Nicole is honored to be working at WXYZ-TV alongside Alicia Smith, Erik Smith, Dave Rexroth and Dennis Neubacher. She is excited to help viewers start each day off right with her Traffic Tracker 7 reports.

Erin grew up in Birmingham and began to study performing arts at the age of 7. After graduating from Mercy High School she traveled to New York to study singing and acting.

Working in the broadcast and entertainment industry has always been Erin’s dream. She broke into the business in 2002 as a reporter for UPN and CBS Detroit.

In 2004, Erin worked as the arena hostess for Detroit Pistons home games and also appeared on Pistons Weekly shows.

Rhonda Walker (WDIV)
Rhonda Walker came to Local 4 in July 2003 as a co-anchor of the Local 4 News Morning Powercast.

After anchoring several other dayparts for the past year, Rhonda is excited to return to the morning news with Guy Gordon.

"Being hired to work at WDIV as a morning anchor is my proudest professional moment," Rhonda said. "As a child, my goal was to become a news anchor. I've always loved Carmen Harlan, so to finally achieve the goal as anchor and actually work at Local 4 is truly a dream come true."

Born in Detroit and raised in Lansing, Rhonda has built her career in the Great Lakes State, focusing most of her professional energy in Detroit, where she resides with her husband, Derrick.

After graduating with a bachelor's degree in communications from Michigan State University in 1991, Rhonda found herself in the Motor City, working independently as an announcer and public speaker for trade shows, conventions, corporate videos and industrial films. She initiated her news career as a weather and traffic reporter for WJBK FOX 2 News morning show and noon newscasts, as well as served up style trends on the 10 p.m. newscast.

"I am fortunate enough to have the career I love and work in my home town," Rhonda said. "I also enjoy the opportunities this job gives me to be involved with the community I love."

One of those opportunities is an accomplishment Rhonda truly prides herself on: establishing the Rhonda Walker Foundation in February 2003. She says the foundation's mission is empowering inner city teen girls towards becoming strong, confident, successful and moral future leaders through career development and personal enrichment activities in a program called "Girls Into Women." The group's activities include "Camp I Can," a summer retreat that provides self-confidence building activities and sessions, national college tours, career development, mentoring and personal enrichment activities.

Kam Carman (FOX2)
I co-anchor Fox 2 News Morning from 5-6 a.m. with Alan Lee and do a segment called "In the News" from 6 to 9 a.m.

I came to Detroit from The Weather Channel in Atlanta, Georgia, where I worked for two-and-a-half years as an on-camera meteorologist. My first job out of college was at an NBC affiliate in Flagstaff, Arizona.

I grew up in Arizona, and while I miss the mild winters, I enjoy the four seasons of Michigan. I am the proud mother of toddler twins, Kellan and Jacquelyn, who keep me very busy, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Katrina Hancock (WDIV)
Katrina Hancock joined Bernie Smilovitz and the Local 4 sports department in December 2006.

In addition to reporting on Detroit's always thriving sports scene on Local 4 News, Katrina also stepped into the role of host of the weekly Sports Final Edition airing Sunday nights at 11:30 p.m.

Katrina's career in the sports broadcasting business reads like a minor-league baseball player's.

She spent her first 17 months in Cheyenne, Wyo., at KGWN (Single-A), a year and a half at KSNT in Topeka, Kan. (Double-A), and the past three years at WTVG in Toledo, Ohio (Triple-A). She finally got called up to the major leagues in December of 2006 when she accepted the Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter position here at Local 4. She's covered nearly every major sporting event in her six-year career.

Katrina graduated in 2000 from Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Bachelor of Science in Communications. Before considering a career in television, she had aspirations of becoming a doctor. The obvious choice at the end of five years of college was sports broadcasting.

Katrina is originally from Kansas, but does not have a dog named Toto. She does own several pairs of red shoes, but none of them can get her home by clicking her heels three times.

Favorite restaurant: Chick-Fil-A
Favorite movie: The Ultimate Gift
Hobbies: traveling, golf, playing piano, swimming, and yoga.
Fun fact: Katrina is 6 feet 3 inches tall and played center for the Bradley Women's Basketball Team from 1997-2000.
Favorite quote: "There's No Place Like Home."

Alicia Smith (WXYZ)
From reporting live at the site of the World Trade Center for the 9/11 Anniversary in 2002 to helping cover Hurricane Jeanne as it roared onto Florida’s coast, Alicia has appreciated every opportunity to tell compelling stories throughout her career.

Alicia joined WXYZ in January 2007 as co-anchor of Action News This Morning. Alicia also reports live from the field on all sorts of topics. In March 2007, Alicia hit the streets of Wayne County at night to reveal a prostitution rehabilitation program that’s turning around lives… one woman at a time. She was also honored to co-host WXYZ’s Education Town Hall Meeting in April 2007. Since arriving at WXYZ, Alicia had the opportunity of interviewing Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jerry Seinfeld, Angela Bassett, Democratic Presidential hopeful John Edwards and others.

She welcomed in summer fun while reporting live during Detroit River Days kick-off in June of 2007. She also helped lead Channel 7’s team in the Michigan Humane Society’s Mega March for Animals. Another passion of Alicia’s is running in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure every year. “Some of my dearest friends have battled breast cancer, so this race has special meaning for me-as it does for so many people.”

Recipient of an Emmy Award for a special report featuring two missing Michigan children’s cold cases, Alicia has also won honors from the Associated Press for a report uncovering the dangers of crumbling infrastructure in downtown Columbus, Georgia. In addition she won a Michigan Association of Broadcasters Award for Community Involvement for a series of reports entitled “Facing Racism: A Daily Battle.”

Alicia is passionate about her work and is equally passionate about the organizations she is involved in. She is a volunteer at Habitat for Humanity and the Michigan Humane Society and is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

A graduate of the University of Georgia’s Henry W. Grady College of Journalism where she majored in Broadcast News and minored in Political Science. Alicia was honored by the Young Alumni Council for the University of Georgia Alumni Society as the Senior Female of the Year.

Alicia spends her spare time checking off a long list of “Must-see” sites and “Must Do” adventures in Metro Detroit. She also enjoys ballroom dancing, running in local 5K races, walking, biking, movie-watching, and reading just about anything while sipping a nice, hot cup of Joe.

Kim Adams (WDIV)
After a one-year hiatus from Local 4, Kim Adams returned to Local 4 in December 2005.

Kim wakes you up each morning on the Local 4 News Powercast 5:00 a.m until 7:00 a.m.

Kim had originally joined the station's Local4Casters weather team in 2002. The Mt. Clemens native has been part of the Detroit community for 25 years.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oakland University. She is currently on the Alumni Association Board of Directors. She also received a master's degree from Wayne State University. In addition, she studied atmospheric science at the U.S. Department of Agriculture Graduate School in Washington, D.C., and at Ohio State University. And, not one to quit growing, Kim is currently working on her Ph. D.

Becoming the first female meteorologist in Detroit television ranks as Kim's proudest professional achievement, along with earning her AMS seal.

Outside the station, Kim prides herself on her community involvement. Because of her work with the Special Olympics, Kim has earned the Media Award from the Association of Retarded Citizens.

She also works with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and was nominated for Woman of the Year by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Kim and her husband, a U.S. Navy lieutenant, have two children.

Carolyn Clifford (WXYZ)
Carolyn Clifford co-anchors the noon and 5 p.m. newscasts with Robbie Timmons and the 7 p.m. with Stephen Clark.

Carolyn is a native Detroiter who grew up on the northwest side of the city.

She’s the youngest of nine children and there are more than 40 grandchildren in her family, so she was thrilled to return to her hometown and work at the very station she grew up watching. "It’s like a dream come true," says Carolyn.

Carolyn has been working in broadcast journalism for more than 17 years and when she arrived at Channel 7 she brought 10 years of experience with her. By May 2002, Detroit began waking up with Carolyn when she joined the "Action News This Morning" team.

Anchoring is only one piece of Carolyn’s job. Through Carolyn’s Health Edge reports she works to keep Detroiters informed about the latest developments in medical science and the effects they have on our community.

Carolyn came to WXYZ-TV from WPGH-TV in Pittsburgh where she anchored the 10 p.m. newscast. Before that, she anchored the 10 p.m. news at WLFL-TV in Raleigh, N.C. where she worked her way up from weekend anchor and medical reporter. Carolyn also worked at the CBS affiliates in both Orlando, Florida and Lansing, but got her real start in news at a small radio station in Lansing.

The YWCA of Western Wayne County has named Carolyn the 2007 Woman of the year. She was also honored this year by the Detroit City Council and Detroit Urban League for her community service and volunteer work in the community. Carolyn has received several awards for her reporting and anchoring. She is a nine-time Emmy winner, including three Emmy Awards for Best News Anchor.

She has also received awards from the Associated Press, the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, and was given a special honor by the Karmanos Cancer Institute as one of their "Heroes of Breast Cancer."

Before Carolyn decided she wanted to work in news, she had dreams of dancing on Broadway. She has danced her whole life and was in the Michigan State Dance Company and the MSU Motion Dance Team before she graduated.

Carolyn loves speaking at area schools and community organizations hoping to make a difference in the lives of children. A quote Carolyn strives to live by is by Martin Luther King Junior, 1963 “ The ultimate measure of a man or woman is not where he or she stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he or she stands at times of challenge and controversy.”

Carolyn is a devoted mother and most of her time away from the station is spent with her family, whether its going to her son’s football or basketball games, her daughter's dance recitals, or simply spending a Saturday night at the movies. “Sunday is the most important day of the week because it’s a day devoted to our family.”

Mara MacDonald (WDIV)
Mara MacDonald knows Detroit. After all, she grew up here.

Mara became a member of the Local 4 News team in March 2004.

Born and raised in Michigan, she honed her skills in television mostly outside of the metro Detroit area.

Mara's first job in television was as a producer with WKBD-TV in Southfield. She then took on the challenge of becoming a reporter in Lansing and Richmond, Va. Most recently, she served as lead reporter for WITI-TV in Milwaukee, Wis.

Her outstanding achievement in television reporting earned her an Associated Press Award for "Best Spot News" coverage in 1998.

Mara received a bachelor of arts degree in diplomacy and foreign affairs from Miami University in Ohio.

Shay Ryan (WXYZ)
Shay Ryan's love for the outdoors transcends all that she does. Reporting on one of Mother Nature's most fickle aspects - the weather - is no exception.

Shay joined the Doppler 7 Weather Team in October of 2002. Since then she has relied upon her scientific expertise to deliver the "Doppler 7" forecast to the Noon, 6 & 11pm on Action News Weekend.

Shay has worked in several Midwest markets including; Lansing, Saginaw and Toledo, and loves the challenge of predicting the ever changing Michigan weather.

Shay has seen her share of dangerous weather. During Hurricane Floyd, she was part of the largest peacetime evacuation in U.S. history. Positioned in the Emergency Management shelter, she reported key safety updates to the local community. She tracked the storm's path and told viewers what precautionary measures would best protect them.

While Shay loves her job reporting the weather, she didn't always want to a meteorologist. Shay says she saw herself in, "Several different types of careers," while growing up. "But this was the best place for me, creatively and intellectually."

A native of South Florida, Shay received her Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication from the University of Florida. She went on to gain a Master's degree from Mississippi State University in Geosciences (Broadcast Meteorology).

When not enjoying the outdoors with her husband, canoeing and visiting the Metro Parks, she loves working on her new house. Shay says she loves to take a hands-on approach to interior designing, and always has her television tuned to HGTV (when she's not watching Channel 7!)

Shay also loves to cook, even adventurously. "There is nothing I won't try cooking (or eating) at least once," she'll tell you.

Mara MacDonald is very hot and crazy smart. A cut above in the Detroit Market

Wheres the amazing Heather Zara at on this list of sexy newsbabes from the D?

Anonymous said...

DEENA is soooo sexy, a little ditzy though! Cam Carmen has man hands, but a good boob job!

Anonymous said...

Alicia!

Katrina Hancock (first name synonymous with Disaster and last name is too easy to pick on) should be removed from the list after bad mouthing Detroit Hockey fans to a Pittsburg reporter. Blow through Pennsylvania Katrina and improve the hot chick gene pool simply by withdrawing yourself.

Anonymous said...

Oh, did I mention that the lines in Katrinas face would only improve with some spunk spackle?

Kam and Kim have the hottest racks (there was a photo of Kam topless that showed up on the Internet about a year ago posted by one of her ex's... wish I could find it)

Katrina Hancock has got nipples that poke thru even the suit coats she wears ... but I don't car for her otherwise.

Most beautiful face goes to Alicia Smith with runner-ups Joanne Purtan and Carolyn Smith.

Actually, with the exception of Piggy Agar and Robbie Timmons, pretty much all Detroits newswomen are fairly tasty.

About 5 years ago I saw Ruth Spencer in downtown Birmingham. She was in summer shorts and a tank top, a skimpy one at that, and was very, VERY bra-less. This woman has (had?) near PERFECT breasts. Full and round and really stood out from her chest, and with very prominant nipples (I don't know how she keeps them from popping out in her newscasts). She had a great butt too. I was blown away ... what an incredible beauty in person!

I think it's great how the Detroit TV stations have “tarted up” the newscasts.

What guy want's to look at a middle aged gray haired old fart or an older maybe obese average looking female, when they can look at a young, hottie info-tart with perky boobs, blond hair and a nice figure? It’s great for ratings too!

Anonymous said...

Kim Adams has the nicest boobs in Detroit TV. Plus she usually wears very tight clothing!

Anonymous said...

I think its between kim adams and ama daetz as best looking reporters on detroit tv

Anonymous said...

I agree with the posts about Kim and Kam having great tits.
Kam is just a skinny little thing. I'd pay to see the topless photo from her ex hubby.

HEY!! Where is JACKIE PAIGE??

Anonymous said...

Anybody heard from my girl Fanchon lately?

Luv to see her get a job washin cars in a bikini.

Anonymous said...

Although she's not an anchor, I think Amy Lange on Fox2 is pretty hot. I thought Camille Amiri, too was hot, but she left Fox2 a few months ago.

Anonymous said...

Erin Nicole is butt ugly!!!

Anonymous said...

agreed. Good body but ugly face.
she had ought to show that body off a bit more.

Anonymous said...

how old is Carolyn Clifford? 38?

Anonymous said...

I'd love to see a pic of Carolyn Clifford in her MSU Motion outfit. Anyone know what year she graduated from MSU? I think she may be 38 or 39.

Anonymous said...

Carolyn is 44 ! (born in april 1964)
Right in the prime age of when women are as horny as they will ever be.

They did a segment that showed her in street clothes - jeans. What a stone cold babe!!

Anonymous said...

Does anyone remember a yahoo group that used to have photos of all of detroits newswomen?

Anonymous said...

What about Deena? There's got to be some good stories about her, she's fine as fuck!!

Anonymous said...

I still say JACKIE PAGE-traffic reporter for channel 2, is the hottest heavy-set woman on television. If you like Rita Cosby, you'll LOVE her.

Anonymous said...

As far as jackie page, three words, No Fat Chicks.
Just not my thing. She does have a nice rack tho and kindof shows it off well. Definitely her best attribute.
I don't care for her face either. Some kind of strange ethnic french look.

Anonymous said...

Erin Nicole - looks too high maintenance and really don't like her personality. Kim Adams or Alicia Smith definitely belong on top!

Anonymous said...

Erin looks like she's got fake tits. looks too much like softballs under her shirt.

Kims got such a hot body and alecia is gorgeous. Either one is so hot. and like you say definitely 'on top' with my thick cock deep in her pussy and her tits in my face

Anonymous said...

ALICIA SMITH HAS THE CUTEST SMILE ON ALL OF DETROIT TELEVISION. WHEN SHE SMILES SHE IS JUST SO DAMN CUTE

Anonymous said...

You should see when Alecia gets out from behind the desk and does those cooking segments. WOW what a body!! A perfect hourglass figure. And big chested.

Anonymous said...

Carolyn Clifford sings the news and smiles when there is tragedy. She has no idea what she is reading and thinks she is a diva, plus she is getting a fat gut.

To call her a cuunt would be an insult to all the genuine cuunts in the world.

Anonymous said...

Rhonda Walker, it isn't even close. Beautiful face, great body.

Anonymous said...

Deena Centofanti is really a hottie - I never watched channel 2 before but now it is what I look forward to on the weekend. Her hubby is one lucky guy!

Anonymous said...

Rhonda Walker, definitely the best body. Very toned and fit. Deena gets my number 2. I also like Ama Daetz. Besides them, I think they're all a waste.

Anonymous said...

I have always wanted to have sex with Carolyn Clifford for I think she looks hot.

Anonymous said...

I can't help it and I won't apologize for it -- I adore plus-sized women. So if any of you have a problem with Jackie Page, just leave the two of us alone.

Anonymous said...

Carolyn Clifford looks like Monica Conyers after a month at a spa and plastic surgery on her nose.

Anonymous said...

I mentally undress Heather Zara every time I see her sultry face and finely proportioned body. I could do more than that, but ...

Anonymous said...

Heather Zara? As ex-Mayor Kwame would have said, "HELL yeah!" Now if I only knew how to Photoshop Heather's exotic face and hair head onto Kim Kardashian's body ...

Anonymous said...

Rhonda Walker looks like she needs a good screwing.

Anonymous said...

Would love to eat Carolyn Cliffords pussy.

Anonymous said...

That thickness, ama daetz all the way!

Anonymous said...

Then there's Channel 2's statuesque Ronnie Dahl. As street reporters go she doesn't look as rode-hard-and-put-up-wet as most of the rest of them.

Anonymous said...

Erin Nicole is hot!!! Carolyn Clifford is very sexy. Alecia is a real beauty for sure.

Anonymous said...

To fuck Carolyn Clifford would be a dream come true. What a sexy lady.

Kam Carmen is so fucking hot, that tiny little frame and those nice, big tits. And she dresses absolutely fantastic. She KNOWS she's got it. And the joking around that they do about Kam being horny kills me(like Sherry Margolis did just the other day about Kam needing a bunch of football players).

Anqunette Jamison (the new black girl who works with Kam) is SO hot too. A few weeks ago she let it slip that she has a "naughty" area pierced (Nipples or pussy!?!).
Kam is still way hotter though.

The thought of Kam and Anqunette grinding their pussies together and cumming is a huge fantasy of mine.

Anonymous said...

Q's belly button is pierced.

Hey
Some of the posts here are really nasty! I am very disappointed that the BEST in Detroit has not been mentioned, the beautiful, professional, and talented Heather Cattallo. Hats off to her for all of her great work and contributions to Detroit t.v.!!

Anonymous said...

Heather has a great body and really cute face but she always wears those triple knit suits buttoned up to the neck, a real shame with her great figure. And her reporting pretty much belongs on jerry springer. If shes so talented then why is she a muck raker instead of a real journalist. Shes an angry woman with something to prove in a crappy fourth-rate market. Too bad. She could be a really attractive girl. Needs to enjoy herself. Dress a bit more like Kam Carmen. She could be an anchor if she'd cut the sensationalist crap. Channel 7's management is holding her back.

Anonymous said...

I think Kam Carmen is a beautiful woman. Her husband is a lucky man. I would give anything to see that body, I can just imagine how nice it is. I enjoy watching her on the tube-GREAT Tits........

Anonymous said...

I hear Carolyn Clifford loves to suck cock and she swallows too.

Anonymous said...

Rhonda Walker deffinitely needs to pop a couple buttons!

Rhonda Walker has a big box.

My breakdown of the newsbabes in Detroit:

Katrina Hancock and Mara McDonald??? Need more data.

Rhonda Walker: Was fine when she first came on the scene at Fox2 with sexy legs and looks...now, she's kinda 'been there, done that'

Sherry Margolis: Still sexy after all these years; sexy face and legs that I been wacking off to since the late 80's...heh, heh

Kam Carmen is kinda cute, but no beauty...nice tits, buuut her chicken legs ruin her with me...screwable yes, but I'm not fantasizing about her at all.

Carolyn Clifford is the hotness! Sexy, sultry and in dire need of my thick cock! One of my all-time faves. She's always had it going on. And btw, she looks NOTHING like Monica fuhkin' Conyers!

Heather Zara is hot and sexy, and I need and desperately want to see more!

Deena Centofanti has grown on me and lately has been sexy as hell!! She's got the hottest pair of legs I've seen in the D and has that 'dirty-girl' look that makes you want to do all kinds of filthy things to her!

Joanne Purtan??? Uh, no. Get some glasses!

Alicia Smith is my current obsession. Those sexy, bedroom, 'come and fuhk me hard' eyes of hers and those tits that I'd love to burry my face in...aww, Alicia. I fantasize about you every morning! Just need to see her legs 'cause I'm a leg man if you havent' guessed!

Ruth Spencer has long been a object of my erection, but I've given up seeing anything of her besides her face and chest. Too bad, 'cause the one time I saw her in person, she was tall, lean and fit. Very sexy.

Jackie Paige would be a fun screw. She's a little on the thick side, but I'd hit it. Those breasts, especially when she wears the tight, titty-hugging red sweater (Fox2 morning viewers know what I'm talking about)!! Yummmy, yumm, yummy!

Ama Daetz is the new hotness! Man this girl is fine as hell. If you guys haven't seen her yet, you need to watch. She used to be on in the mornings, but now she's seen in spots. Oh, and she's not "thick" by any means as said earlier. She's sexy as hell and I'd loooove to hit that. Hell, I'd divorce my wife and marry that if I had a chance.

Shay Ryan has the nicest tits in the 'D, no contest! She's got sexy wide hips and nice gams to boot. Whoever is getting to put his hands on those tits and that body is one lucky sonuva bee-otch!

Erin Nicole is sexy and hot. Nice ass, tits, face everything. Sexy blonde to the hilt. Anybody on here dissing her is just hating. She's a bad, bad, girl!

Finally,
Kim Adams has been my ultimate fantasy newsbabe for a long time. I'd give anything to nustle my face and/or dick between those nice ass titties of hers! She's got a sexy ass, hips, legs...the whole package. Man, that hubby of hers is lucky, but he's probably not doing it justice...most dudes who have hot chicks don't even serve them the way they should. It's a shame.
