On TSN, Canada's version of ESPN, this is Leah Hextall. If you recognize that name, you're probably a Philly Flyers fan. Leah is Ron Hextall's niece, a hot one at that. Ron was my favorite goalie and hockey player growing up. He was such a crazy SOB, I loved it. And his niece, Leah is one hot babe.

She's only filling in throughout August because all of the TSN regulars are on holidays. She'll be back in Winnipeg doing her regular job at the end of the month.

her journalism presence, she sounds very young (probably younger than the Chinese Gymnasts).
Her style, presence, knowledge of sports comes across as a giggly, ditz brunette. To me, she is horrible. It sounds as if she is reading off the prompter. in my view, she is a very poor sportscaster.
Come to think of it, female sportscasters is based on sex appeal. For example, Evanka Osmak--terrible anchor but for the males, terrific eyecandy.
I can't name one GOOD female sportscaster in Canada that has a professional presence, knowledge about sports (other than reading the prompter).
leah hextall is better off at TSN, get her the hell away from winnipeg. She is trash that doesn't understand how to keep her hands off other girls boyfriends.
